About The Photographer

I love photography for its full spectrum. There are so many versatile styles, perspectives, and creative ways to capture the world around us. Whether photography is used in movies, theater, literature, etc. you always end with a form of artistic expression.

My love for photography was formed as a child when we were fortunate enough to have a subscription to National Geographic, I believed I would be a photo journalist, traveling the world one day and taking these breathe taking views of jungles, rain forests, waterfalls, and their natural wildlife. As I grew I learned to appreciate other forms of photography like theater and concert photography, family portraits, milestone, etc. Alas life happened and different choices were made, I initially attended Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island for Culinary degree.

In 2012 I was blessed to be gifted a Canon Rebel T3I for my birthday and at first I was going to use it to capture my children's milestones but someone close to me encouraged me to explore photography further. With the support of  friends who either modeled for me and allowing me to bring my camera to events so I was able to better learn how to shoot in different lighting environments.

A decade and some later I was incredibly fortunate to have learned and grow so much. I got to be a part of so many moments; first birthdays, maternities, weddings, boudoir, fantasy, and so much more. I consider myself an alternative photographer who loves the creative process.
